Membership
Membership shall comprise of legally constituted Yoruba Towns Organizations, Clubs and other Community groups as evidenced by Federal identification number of the Organization in USA.
Yoruba Organizations, Clubs or Groups intending to apply for Membership in the Alliance of Yoruba Organization shall submit a written application with a duly notarized registration Certificate of the applying Town, Club or Group Organization entity, to Yoruba Alliance Organization through the General Secretary of the Alliance.
Individuals who wish to join the Yoruba Alliance Organization must first join his or her local chapter Organization or Club. For further assistance, write to yorubaallianceusa@gmail.com.
The Application must be duly signed by the President and Secretary. All applications will be looked into and approved if all conditions are met. The Alliance will reply to the applications as soon as possible. To remain a membership of the Alliance in good standing, all member Organizations of Alliance shall fulfill all obligations, dues, financial contributions, donations or fees, where necessary and stipulated in the By-Laws of Alliance from time to time by Alliance. All member Organizations shall be duly represented in the Alliance by 3 members from each Organization.
The President and two other officially elected executive member. Each member Organization shall have ONE vote on all decision making issues and matters requiring a vote. Only the President or his one appointed executive officer shall cast a vote when the President is absent. A member Organization shall have active representation at all meetings. Any member Organization that is absent for two years and not fulfilling the above obligations shall be placed on non-active status.
New Members are free to join and are welcome with open arms.
